Brief Amazon network outage at 2:22 AM

Amazon EC2 experienced a network outage this morning between 2:22 AM and 2:43 AM Pacific time which impacted our service.  We are waiting for more complete details from Amazon, but the outage appears to have crossed multiple Availability Zones.

Server Slowness on March 9th

  • We are experiencing some server slowness as of today, March 9th. We will update you here when it has been resolved.
  • Update: The slowness lasted about 15 minutes and only affected some communities (ones that do not use a CNAME) and was caused by a problem with Amazon's Elastic Loadbalancers failing in an unusual way. We have a support request open with Amazon to further investigate the root cause. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
