Get Satisfaction emails are being delivered
Our email service provider Sendgrid had been experiencing outages causing emails from Get Satisfaction to not be sent. We are now seeing emails flowing again, but it may take a while for Sendgrid to be able to process the backlog.

Subscription processing 12 minute outage
The vendor we use for managing subscriptions had a brief outage this morning. During this period, Get Satisfaction customers were unable to provision new communities or upgrade or downgrade existing subscriptions. All other Get Satisfaction services were performing normally. We regret the inconvenience.
Outage resolved
We have resolved the problem causing the outage, and the service should be back to normal. We apologize for the incovenience.

Get Satisfaction corporate web site up
Liquid Web has resolved the problem that was making our corporate website unavailable. All other services including all hosted communities were not affected by this outage.

Facebook posting update
The Facebook posting issue from earlier today was happening in some, but not all, geographic locations. We are waiting for a final resolution from our partner Involver, but it is now working fine in locations that were previously experiencing the problem. Facebook posting slowdown
Content posting (topics, replies, me-toos) in our Facebook application is much slower than normal. Viewing of content in Facebook is normal and all other Get Satisfaction systems are performing normally. We are investigating the reason for the Facebook posting slowness.

The issue with our Facebook application has now been resolved. We apologize for the inconvenience.

We are experiencing an outage with our Facebook application. We are working with our Facebook partner to resolve this. All other parts of the Get Satisfaction service are operating normally.

Service to SSL Domain Aliased communities normal
All Domain Aliased communities that use SSL have been working normally for the last 30 minutes. Domain Aliasing + SSL relies on Amazon’s Elastic Load Balancers and Amazon has been experiencing sporadic issues with their Elastic Load Balancer product since their outage last night.
Most services restored
We have routed our traffic around Amazon’s Elastic Load Balancer architecture, which was causing this morning’s problems. All services except Domain Aliased communities with their own SSL certificates should be fully functional.
Additional site issues this morning
The Get Satisfaction site is experiencing additional issues this morning due to new problems at our AWS data center. We are actively researching this and attempting to route traffic away from the affected resources.
Get Satisfaction running, some slowness possible
We’ve routed traffic away from the regions that have been affected by tonight’s AWS outage in the Virginia area. Although the Get Satisfaction web app and API are available, they may show some latency or lag as we fully restore all of our services. Thanks for your patience.
AWS connectivity issues
Amazon Web Services, which hosts Get Satisfaction’s production environment, is reporting connectivity issues on their status page. We are working to remove any affected machines from our production environment and restore service as quickly as possible.
Issue with signups, upgrades, downgrades
As a result of Amazon’s server outage last night we have been experiencing issues with new signups for new communities, plan upgrades and downgrades. We have implemented a workaround for this issue and signups should now be functioning again. It’s possible that we may have a brief interruption when we restore this back to its normal state.

Amazon power outage tonight
Amazon EC2 is experiencing issues tonight relating to a power outage in one of their data centers. We are not seeing any significant impact on the Get Satisfaction service as we have servers spread across multiple Amazon data centers. API Server issue
We experience an issue with our API servers tonight which resulted in some API calls being slow or dropped starting at 21:30 Pacific time. The root cause appears to be with the Amazon EC2 load balancing hardware. We have terminated the affected servers and service should be normal again. We continued to server the majority of our API traffic normally while this problem was occurring.

We have recently experienced a couple of brief outages to our corporate website one on 5/17 and one on 5/8. The Get Satisfaction application and all communities continued to operate normally, but the corporate website (www.getsatisfaction.com) was temporarily unavailable. The corporate website is externally hosted and we are working with our vendor to find the root cause.

Brief Amazon network outage at 2:22 AM
Amazon EC2 experienced a network outage this morning between 2:22 AM and 2:43 AM Pacific time which impacted our service. We are waiting for more complete details from Amazon, but the outage appears to have crossed multiple Availability Zones.

Server Slowness on March 9th
We are experiencing some server slowness as of today, March 9th. We will update you here when it has been resolved.
Update: The slowness lasted about 15 minutes and only affected some communities (ones that do not use a CNAME) and was caused by a problem with Amazon's Elastic Loadbalancers failing in an unusual way. We have a support request open with Amazon to further investigate the root cause. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
